WHY TAKE YOUR SSI NITROX SPECIALTY AT ECHO DIVERS?
Taught Around Koh Tao Dive Profiles
Nitrox makes the most sense when it’s explained around the dives you’re actually doing here — multi-day diving, similar depths, similar surface intervals.
You Leave Knowing What You’re Breathing
This course isn’t about memorising numbers. It’s about understanding what’s in your tank, how it affects your dive, and how to plan properly before your dive.
Simple, Focused, and Useful
Nitrox is popular because it works — not because it’s complicated. We keep the course focused on what you’ll actually use, without padding or unnecessary theory.
Easy to Fit Into Your Diving Plans
Whether you’re fun diving or doing other training, Nitrox slots in naturally. We run it in a way that works around your dives, not against them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I combine Nitrox with other courses?
Yes. Nitrox pairs well with Deep, Wreck, and Advanced training and is easy to combine.
Can I use Nitrox on fun dives after the course?
Yes. Once certified, you can use Nitrox on fun dives, as long as it fits the dive plan.
Is Nitrox only for experienced divers?
Not at all. Many divers take Nitrox soon after their Open Water course.
Does Nitrox make diving safer?
Nitrox doesn’t change the way you dive. It helps manage nitrogen exposure, which many divers find more comfortable on repetitive dives.
Can I fly after my last dive?
The general rule for flying after diving is to wait 12 hours after one dive, and 18 hours after two or more dives. If you went over your no decompression limits, or missed a safety stop on the dive, it is advised to wait 24 hours.
